Vion Bad Bramstedt is the most important cattle slaughterhouse in northern Germany. Cattle farmers from Schleswig-Holstein, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Lower Saxony deliver up to 3200 animals a week to the centrally located slaughter location. In addition to its regional roots in retail trade with branded programmes, the location has also developed and expanded its export market to neighbouring countries in recent years. Bad Bramstedt opens the gateway to Scandinavia for Vion.
